At the office of Dr. Ben Foster, we understand that you may have questions concerning treatment. This is why we take special care to explain our procedures and make certain you are choosing what is best for you.
Digital imaging, a computerized method of gathering photographs, will be utilized at your initial exam to allow Dr. Foster to instantly evaluate the nature of your orthodontic concerns. The initial findings will be discussed with you as well as recommendations on the appropriate concerns of treatment and the approximate costs involved.
A week to ten days following your initial visit you will receive by mail a customized consultation summary and treatment recommendations with copies of your digital photographs. This information provides you and your family members who are unable to attend the initial visit the necessary information to make an informed decision concerning orthodontic care.
Getting Started
If treatment is indicated, diagnostic records will be recommended. The records will include models of the teeth and supporting structures as well as radiographs of the teeth, jaws and face through a computerized digitizing process. This information is further evaluated allowing Dr. Foster to develop an individualized plan of treatment for your orthodontic needs.
A consultation appointment is usually scheduled a week to two days following completion of the orthodontic records. A computerized plan of treatment will be presented to you as well as a complete financial disclosure. All of your questions regarding treatment, payment options and insurance matters will be answered at your consultation appointment. Please allow 30-45 minutes for this presentation.
